Carex buchananii
Description:
Ornamental sedge native to New Zealand. It forms fine, upright tufts of copper-bronze to reddish-brown foliage that gracefully arch at the tips, creating a soft, flowing texture in the garden. The foliage colour deepens in full sun and adds a warm tone to mixed plantings. Small, inconspicuous brown flower spikes appear in summer, adding subtle texture without detracting from the foliage display.
