Description:
A hardy evergreen New Zealand native sedge with fine, arching foliage in attractive bronze, copper and brown tones. It forms a dense, naturally flowing clump with foliage that gently cascades towards the ground, adding movement and texture to the garden. Small brown flower spikes are produced on stems that can extend above and beyond the foliage. A versatile, low-maintenance plant that works particularly well in mass plantings and modern or native-style gardens.

Position:
Full sun to partial shade. It is hardy and well suited to exposed and coastal conditions. It performs well in open positions and can tolerate a range of conditions once established.
Soil:
Free-draining soil with reasonable moisture. It is tolerant of a range of soil conditions once established, including relatively dry soils, but performs best where the soil is not permanently waterlogged.

Care Tips:
- Water regularly while establishing, particularly during dry periods.
- Once established, it is relatively drought tolerant but benefits from watering during prolonged dry conditions.
- Apply a light layer of mulch around the plant to help retain moisture and suppress weeds, keeping mulch away from the crown.
- A light application of fertiliser in spring is generally sufficient.
- Remove old or damaged foliage as required to keep the plant looking tidy.
- If the clump becomes congested, lift and divide it in autumn or early winter.
- Avoid permanently waterlogged soils and ensure adequate drainage.
- Plant in groups for a strong flowing effect and maximum visual impact.
