Position:
Prefers full sun to partial shade. The best foliage colour develops in a sunny position. Hardy in coastal and exposed locations.

Soil:
Prefers a well-drained soil but is adaptable to a wide range of soil types, including sandy and clay soils, provided drainage is good.
