Description:
Evergreen, clump-forming perennial known for its strappy, arching green leaves and striking white flowers with yellow centers, which appear in spring to summer. It forms neat, architectural clumps and is valued for both its foliage and flowers. Its seed pods also add interest after flowering. This plant is hardy, low-maintenance, and well-suited for garden borders, coastal sites, and wet areas.

Position:
Full sun to partial shade. Performs best with some protection from harsh afternoon sun in very hot spots.
Soil:
Well-drained, fertile soil. Tolerates moist soils, and can cope with coastal conditions and light frosts.

· Coastal gardens and wind-exposed sites

Care Tips:
· Moderate; keep soil moist but not waterlogged, especially during dry spells
· Apply a general slow-release fertilizer in spring
· Remove dead leaves and flower stems to maintain tidy appearance
· Divide clumps every 3–4 years in early spring to maintain vigor
· Generally pest-free. Occasional fungal leaf spots may occur in very wet conditions
· Tolerates coastal winds and salt spray, making it ideal for seaside gardens. Mulch lightly to retain moisture and suppress weeds
