Description:
Compact, low-growing New Zealand native shrub with a dense, spreading habit and attractive blue-green foliage. From spring through summer, it produces clusters of small, creamy-white, lightly fragrant flowers that contrast beautifully with the foliage and attract bees and other pollinators. Hardy and naturally compact, it is ideal for rockeries, borders, coastal gardens, and as an attractive groundcover in low-maintenance landscapes.

Position:
Full sun to part shade. Performs best in an open position with good air circulation and tolerates coastal conditions.

Soil:
Prefers well-drained soil and thrives in sandy, gravelly, or rocky soils. Avoid heavy or poorly drained soils, particularly during winter.

Care Tips:

• Water regularly while establishing; once established it is reasonably drought tolerant
• Ensure excellent drainage to prevent root problems
• Lightly trim after flowering to maintain a compact, tidy habit
• Mulch lightly with fine gravel or bark, keeping mulch away from the crown
• Avoid excessive fertiliser, as too much can encourage soft, weak growth
• Hardy in most New Zealand conditions and tolerant of coastal exposure and light frost once established
