Description:
Robust, upright, evergreen shrub with aromatic, needle-like green foliage and striking deep blue flowers that appear from late winter through spring, often flowering intermittently throughout the year in mild New Zealand climates. The foliage releases a strong rosemary fragrance when brushed or crushed, making it a favourite for both ornamental and culinary gardens. Position:
Full sun. Thrives in open, sunny positions and tolerates wind and coastal conditions.
Soil:
Well-drained soil. Tolerates poor, sandy, gravelly, or rocky soils but dislikes prolonged waterlogging and heavy clay.
