Description:
Compact, evergreen New Zealand native shrub with fine, narrow green leaves and a dense, bushy growth habit. It produces delicate spikes of white to pale mauve flowers from spring through summer, attracting bees and other beneficial pollinators. Its fine foliage and tidy form make it an excellent choice for borders, rockeries, coastal gardens, and low-maintenance landscapes.

Position:
Full sun to part shade. Performs best in a sunny, sheltered position but tolerates coastal conditions, wind, and light frost once established.

Soil:
Prefers well-drained soil and grows well in loam, sandy, or lighter soils. Avoid heavy, poorly drained soils as excessive moisture can lead to root issues.

Care Tips:

• Water regularly during establishment and during extended dry periods; once established, it is reasonably drought tolerant

• Mulch around the base to help retain moisture and suppress weeds, keeping mulch clear of the stem
