Description:
Striking evergreen shrub admired for its glossy, multi-coloured foliage. The leaves are splashed with shades of cream, gold, green, and pink-red, giving the plant a “painted” appearance that changes with the seasons. Its compact, bushy form and vibrant colour make it an excellent feature in the garden or in containers.

Position:

Full sun to part shade. Colour is most vibrant in full sun.

Soil:

Prefers well-drained soil; tolerant of coastal conditions.

Uses:

·        Feature shrub for year-round colour

·        Low hedging or borders

·        Container planting

·        Coastal and urban gardens

·        Adds contrast in mixed plantings

Care tips:

·        Trim lightly after flowering or in late summer to maintain shape.

·        Protect from heavy frost when young (more tolerant once established).

·        Water during extended dry periods, though drought tolerant once established.

·        Feed in spring with a general-purpose slow-release fertiliser to encourage lush growth and vivid leaf colour.
