The foliage is small, shiny, and dark green — creating a lush, tidy appearance year-round. In spring, it produces inconspicuous flowers followed by small orange-red berries that attract birds. This plant is ideal for low-maintenance gardens, coastal plantings, or as a hardy groundcover or low hedge.
